Læringsmål

This webinar provides tips and tricks on how to build a robust mindset for fundraising locally and how Danish organisations can support partners in funding diversification.

Indhold

Setting the Pace Sustainability isn't built in a day, but the decision to pursue it starts with a single shift in perspective. In this concentrated two-hour session, we share a high level overview of how organizations can begin their journey, or support their grantees toward financial independence and community-led growth.

What We Will Achieve Together In 120 minutes:

We will unpackage insights and peer learning to ensure you leave with a clearer understanding for your organization’s evolution:

    • The quickfire Mindset Reset: A rapid dive into the "Recipient vs. Resource-Owner" framework to identify the internal barriers holding back your local fundraising potential.
    • The Intermediary’s Roadmap: A strategic look at how Danish NGOs and intermediaries can immediately pivot toward "mentorship" roles, focusing on capacity ambitions and flexible support.
    • Flash Case Studies: quick fire "deep dives" with NAC Uganda and FANT Denmark, offering a 360-degree view of how both local and international partners are successfully navigating the shift.
    • Collaborative Power House: Targeted breakout sessions to network with peers and identify the top two ways intermediaries can support partners beyond traditional funding.

This webinar is designed to be the catalyst. For instance, while we won't build an entire strategy, you will leave with a mental framework for change, a network of like-minded peers, and direct access to the self paced learning resources for your technical deep dives later.

Who Should Join? Practitioners, volunteers and leaders from Danish NGOs, and international partner organizations who are ready to stop talking about "shifting the power" and start leading the change.

Baggrundsmateriale

Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF) is a public charitable foundation founded in 1997 that supports sustainable community-driven development in Kenya. KCDF believes complete and lasting change is possible when communities initiate and drive their development agenda with little external support.

KCDF works to enhance community growth and sustainability through capacity development, community philanthropy, and local giving. We invest significant resources to build, strengthen, and sustain the core capacities of our communities by developing thoughtful, long-term collaborations with other actors including governments, non-profit organizations, the private sector, and individuals to advance social justice.
