Indhold
Among all target groups, there are people with mental health challenges or disabilities who require special attention in terms of securing their rights. How do we raise awareness about the increased risk for these people and how can we address the risk of stigma and abuse?
WHO’s Quality Rights is a global initiative that aims to improve the quality of services for and the rights of people with mental health challenges or disabilities.
The course will be held in English and is facilitated by Erik Mønsted Pedersen, psychologist and vice-chairman of the association SIND. The course is an introduction to Quality Rights and the World Health Organization (WHO) training material on this. The course will be divided into four parts
- What is Quality Rights.
- Mental vulnerability, relations and recovery.
- What does Quality Rights look like in relation to international development cooperation.
- What does a focus on Quality Rights mean in practice for your work.
The course includes presentations, exercises and group work, including videos with personal stories. This course is offered in collaboration with Danish Disability Organisations (DH).
