Målgruppe

Civil Society Organisations with focus on climate adaptation, nature and environment - it is not necessary to have a CCAM grant to participate

Læringsmål

The Climate, Nature & Environment Network was initiated by CISU in order to create a platform through which CISU members and their partners can share experience. While CISU attempts to facilitate dialogue, the drive and momentum of these network meetings very much rest with inputs from participants. Sometimes we have been fortunate to invite external facilitators, but a common request from network participants has been to learn more from likeminded organisations and partnerships.

The purpose of this network meeting is to share examples and experiences on how CISU's Climate Change Adaptation Modality (CCAM) has contributed as an enabler for other climate finance and new partnerships.

Indhold

Exploring CCAM as a Launchpad for Additional Funding or Partnership Opportunities

This network meeting will focus on how CCAM as a funding modality has contributed as catalysator for other climate finance and new partnerships. This could be related to institutional climate funding, (local) government funds in the respective countries, or something else. New partnerships could include research institutions, CSO network, private sector actors, or others.

There will be presentations from three CCAM projects sharing practical lessons on how they have facilitated cooperation and partnerships - in some cases leading to new funding. The cases will focus on their journey working with climate change adaptation, how they have pursued other funding or new partnerships in relation to adaptation and how CCAM as a modality has contributed to this potential. There will be plenty of time for both Q&A sessions and discussions where the participants are encouraged to share their experience on the topic.

The meeting will be held in English and as a hybrid format with both physical presence in Copenhagen as well as online participation. A teams link will be shared with the participants prior to the network meeting.
