With the “foreign agent” act being approved and a new homophobic law in the pipeline, the civic space in Georgia is shrinking. Civil Society is mobilizing protest as CSOs fear the consequences of the new laws. How does the situation influence the Georgian civil society? How does it influence the partnerships with Danish CSOs?
The workshop will start with a presentation by Tenoa Darchia, who is a development practitioner from Georgia, currently working for the Fari Tree Foundation in Georgia.
The presentation will be followed by time for Q&A and a discussion about the situation in Georgia. There will also be time for sharing own experience.
