This case report highlights the activities and results of a Climate Change adaptability intervention in the Chiquitano forest in Bolivia implemented by Fundación para la Conservación del Bosque Chiquitano together with their Danish partner, Aktion Amazonas.
Based upon traditional indigenous knowledge and facilitation of community engagement, community organisation and training, the intervention makes communities more resilient and enhances local food and water security.
Case: Building resilience in communities vulnerable to climate change in Bolivia
The intervention is supported by the Climate Change Adaptability Modality (CCAM) funding mechanism within the Civil Society Fund. The case report is from the first year of the intervention.
