What is the Guide about?
This Guide presents four methods and tools for planning, monitoring, and evaluating the changes that information and engagement projects contribute to.
What does the Guide offer?
Information and engagement projects often involve complex social processes, which can make it difficult to predict and measure project outcomes. In addition, many actors working with sustainable development have limited time and resources, and therefore perceive monitoring and evaluation as a burden.
Simple monitoring and evaluation tools can therefore significantly strengthen a project’s impact and help maintain focus on the change the project aims to create, rather than solely on following the project plan.
What can the Guide be useful for?
This Guide provides simple tools, case examples, and tips to make monitoring and evaluation work more manageable. The Guide is designed for information and engagement projects, but many of the methods can also be applied to other types of projects.
The Guide is in English.
