The overall objective for the intervention, is to improve conditions for female drug addicts in Tanzania. The challenges, project objectives and strategy are based on experiences from previous intervention, that we (Rising Hope and The Light of Miracle) have done together – Women We Can. The project objectives are: 1. 84 women are empowered to adress stigma and discrimination against women who have been engaged in drugaddiction. 2. Emproved treatment and aftercare for female drugaddicts in Tanzania. 3. LoM’s organizational capacity is developed to be independent from Rising Hope and ready to start advocacy.
