Voices of the Global South is a project aimed at deepening the audience's understanding of development issues in the Global South beyond just awareness-raising. Our aim is to provide a nuanced and accurate portrayal of the challenges faced by communities and ecosystems in the region. Additionally, we seek to inspire and empower the audience to develop innovative, context-specific solutions to these problems. To achieve these objectives, we plan to showcase successful solutions and ongoing efforts while inviting speakers from the Global South with extensive experience and expertise in development issues to speak. By doing so, we will provide a diverse range of perspectives and insights that will encourage critical thinking and engagement in development cooperation. This project intends to educate and empower the audience to understand and address environmental issues in the global south. The project be held as a series of 6 events, each featuring a different speaker.
