Resume

The intervention aims to restore safety, dignity, and essential living conditions for 800 flood-affected households (approximately 4,780 people), including 600 Rohingya refugee households in Camps 14, 15, and 16 and 200 vulnerable host community households in Cox's Bazar from 15 September to 31 December 2026. It will provide an integrated Emergency Shelter, Essential Non-Food Items (NFI), and Hygiene Assistance Package to households whose shelters and basic household assets have been damaged by flooding. Community hygiene promotion will be delivered through mothers' courtyard sessions using IEC materials and child-centred psychosocial activities to reduce disease risks and promote well-being. A community-prioritised flexible response fund will address urgent unmet needs while strengthening participation, accountability, and local leadership through coordinated implementation by MMCC Global and KOINONIA, working closely with affected communities and local coordination mechanisms.
