The Women of Wealth project aims to enhance the livelihoods of female-headed households in the Nasivan Teevu village located in the Valaichchenai Division of the Batticaloa district in the Eastern province of Sri Lanka. This will be achieved through targeted investments, effective public-private partnerships, skills development, home industries, and improved access to markets. The project focuses on economic empowerment and social inclusion, with the specific objective of creating a social community enterprise named WOW (Women of Wealth), which will create employment and leadership opportunities for vulnerable women.
