The Eco-Rights School project aims to empower 35 environmental human rights defenders (EHRDs) in Armenia—specifically youth, activists, and members of impacted communities—by providing them with essential legal information and advocacy strategies to protect environmental rights. Two workshops in Jermuk and Yerevan will focus on SLAPP defense, environmental rights, and community mobilization. The project’s impact will be amplified through alumni-led outreach, directly informing 400 individuals across communities and strengthening civic participation. The project will also build Green Armenia’s capacity through a partner visit with NOAH in Denmark, where key members will receive guidance on forming an advisory board and joining an international network. The intervention will enhance Green Armenia NGO's long-term sustainability and contribute to stronger environmental protection and civil society in Armenia.
