Enhancing AKAM’s Capacity to Mobilize Funds for Jaguar and Wildlife Protection in the Amazon

The requested funds will enable AKAM to prepare a funding application to Beckett Fonden, centered on reducing illegal hunting of jaguars, preventing jaguar-community conflicts, training rangers and voluntary ranger groups, and advocating for stronger law enforcement against wildlife trafficking. The proposal will be developed in collaboration with AKAM’s long-standing partner FCBC in Bolivia, an organization with deep contextual knowledge and operational expertise.
