The project is aimed at three target groups: 1) The “intervention-committed” members of URYDO, 2) The board of URYDO, and 3) The remaining members of URYDO. The primary target group is a group of 50 members based on the more than 70 members that have already expressed an interest in volunteering. The group represents all URYDO members – poor young people between 15 and 35 – both boys and girls/ women and men. They have different religious backgrounds and represent many of the different tribes in Tanzania. The primary target group is characterized as the group of committed volunteer members, who will gain a significant strengthened capacity and invaluable business experiences due to their commitment in the intervention. The second target group is the board for URYDO. Through the past years URYDO’s capacity has grown, both due to management courses at MS-TCDC and due to their experience with the project implementation. The members of URYDO have become role models to the members of the club and the culture in the club is that there is room for discussion and criticism. The other members volunteers in arranging sports and hobby activities etc., but when it comes to the economy and collecting funds the board is on its own. However, the board has a close relationship to Tanzibarn, and whenever there's expenses that are not included in the budget they turn to Tanzibarn for advice and funding. The third target group is the rest of the members of URYDO. The group consists of approximately 400 young people. As described above it is young people, both girls and boys with different religious back groups, that represents many of the different tribes in Tanzania. Most of them are poor or very poor, but in the bigger group of members there are also a few who are a part of the new middle class in Tanzania.
