Focus will be on equity and inclusion in access to land, natural and production resources. The intervention will cover Zone 3 and surrounding host community in BidiBidi refugee settlement, in Yumbe district. The intervention will build advocacy collaborations and linkages for Self Help Groups (SHGs) engagements with local, national and/or international stakeholders to sustain access to priority support. The intervention will transform the targeted 420 refugee and community households-PoCs, People of Concern, currently under the existing 14 VSLAs, Village savings and Loans Associations, into 14 strong SHGs, , that spearhead community driven initiatives in climate adaptation and livelihood self-reliance. Capacities of the 14 SHGs will be strengthened in aspects of human rights awareness, conflict resolution, and advocacy for access to priority community and natural resources.
