Burkina Faso is experiencing an unprecedented security and humanitarian crisis due to the escalation of terrorist attacks and inter-community conflicts. To respond to the urgent needs of the IDP's Planbørnefonden together with Plan Burkina Faso and local partner REPSY provides assistance to app 6.000 people in terms of child protection and distribution of NFI kits. 4 Child friendly spaces will be set up with educated staff and materials, to provide psychosocial support to children and youth affected by the crisis. Furthermore the referral system for children in crisis will be strengthened. 500 most vulnerable families (including 100 from host community) will receive NFI kits and hygiene kits.
