This project aims to expand and institutionalize amputee football in Ukraine as a sustainable tool for physical rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and social reintegration of war-affected veterans. Building on the pilot phase, the project will establish structured amputee football teams in three cities, providing war veterans with regular training, competition opportunities, and access to rehabilitation professionals such as physiotherapists and psychologists. A key focus is to strengthen collaboration between football clubs, rehabilitation centers, and veteran organizations, ensuring amputee football becomes a long-term, locally embedded initiative. The project will also develop a methodology for amputee football as a rehabilitation tool, including a manual for new clubs and awareness-raising campaigns.
