The project promotes social inclusion and improved quality of life for children and youth with disabilities in Zanzibar through inclusive sports. In partnership with local schools and the Tanzania Paralympic Committee, the project will organize sport camps, tournaments, and workshops that engage approximately 1,000 students, including children with physical and mental disabilities. Local teachers and coaches will be trained in inclusive sports practices. The initiative aims to reduce stigma, increase awareness of disabilities, and strengthen civil society through capacity building, inclusive education, and community dialogue. Sustainable impact will be ensured by embedding the activities in school routines and through strong local partnerships.
