This intervention is the Women’s Council Denmark’s (WCD) and our partners' contribution to a 6 days exchange visit between youth activists from the SWANA region and Denmark organised by 5 Danish CSOs and their local partners in SWANA. The purpose of the exchange visit is to share experiences and learning between the youth groups. Young activists and change agents from Denmark and the SWANA region will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and exchange experiences from their work to bring about change in their society through civic engagement. The visit is an opportunity to inform and engage Danish youth about the challenges and opportunities in terms of participation, civic engagement, gender equality, and employment in the SWANA region. WCD and our partners in North Africa have been invited to participate in the exchange visit, with the role of ensuring a gender focus throughout the visit - with particular focus on feminist activism in the region.
