The project aims for sustainable improved conditions for women engaged in sex work and/or addiction to drugs or alcohol in Tanzania. Outcome 1 enhances access for 500 female sex workers (FSWs) and female drug users (FDUs) to basic human rights, including shelter, health, social protection, and tailored support via a functional drop-in center. Outcome 2 strengthens local capacity by training 16 peer educators, reaching 2000 women with harm reduction, establishing four strategic CSO partnerships, and engaging 48 key stakeholders in workshops and action plans to address rights violations and service gaps. Outcome 3 aims to ensure sustainable structural changes, by presenting proposals for policy change to the government and ensuring government or donor support, by generating evidence-based knowledge that we collect throughout the project. This integrated approach combines strategic services, capacity building, and advocacy to create long-term impact.
