We will work with local schools, students, parents, community leaders, local authorities, and community volunteers to create a program with environmental education material that can be used through workshops/capacity building programs. Through workshops and capacity building for community volunteers the project will aim to enhance the quality of education, promoting sustainable community development, and empowering the relation between the local community and their natural environmental resources, recovery, and conservation of the ecosystems in the local areas. In the workshops we will train them by practicing how to work with biodiversity, recycling, waste, energy, healthy living, and water. Our main target group is the students and teachers in 2 schools and the local goverment.
