Overordnede mål
To raise the capacity of the civil society and the social service together to support the inclusion of children and youth with disabilities through three measures/objectives.
Umiddelbare mål
People with special needs (disabilities) and their families will be involved in all practical activities, from analysing via doing to advocating; this is a part of the social workers’ service training programs.
Målgrupper
20-25 young people with disabilities (job training), 100 children and youth with disabilities (in villages), and 100 children and youth with disabilities (in rehabilitation centres) – a total of 200 – 225 children and youth.
Resume
Projektet vil demonstrere og bidrage til bæredygtige måder at inkludere børn, ung og familier med handicap i deres lokalsamfund. For at nå dette har projektet valgt tre konkrete best-practise-indsatser: (1)job-træning og beskæftigelse for unge med handicap, (2)mobile teams til at hjælpe børn, unge og familier med handicap til optræning og læring samt (3)to særlige behandlingssteder. For at støtte og udbrede disse vil projektet uddanne inklusionsfacilitatorer, der kan støtte civilsamfundets bevidsthed og vilje til at gøre noget, samt etablere en viden platform on inklusion (baseret meget på apps og mobilteknologi). Projektet bygger i øvrigt på, at det er en forudsætning for at arbejde aktivt for inklusion at børn, unge og familier med handikap bliver synlige i samfundet – og at projektet bidrager til dette på en måde, hvor borgere og myndigheder får konkrete eksempler på, hvordan inklusion kan implementeres.
