This project seeks to establish a youth-led, community-driven “Locally-led Development Hub” in Yumbe, designed to strengthen the capacity, visibility, and collaboration of local civil society and community-based organizations. Co-created through a participatory design process with local youth, the Hub will be equipped with essential shared infrastructure and will support ten local organizations through targeted capacity-building and visibility enhancement. Every activity will prioritize locally sourced solutions to foster ownership, sustainability, and cultural relevance. Over time, the Hub will cultivate a vibrant network of local actors and serve as a bridge to donors and international partners, ensuring more localized, inclusive, and equitable access to Yumbe’s international aid and development resources.
