Resume
The project aims to empower Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by enhancing their capacity to transform surplus agricultural produce into sustainable, collective income-generating activities. To achieve this, the project will provide targeted training programs to equip SHG members with the skills needed to effectively utilize their surplus harvests and strengthen village-level networks. Further, by addressing key skills gaps in small-scale business management, the project will establish a strong foundation for SHGs to eventually scale up their activities, improving their access to government support schemes. An academy plan will be developed with active participation and feedback from SHG members, ensuring the training is tailored to their needs. Additionally, advocacy efforts will engage government officials, promoting the academy plan and expanding opportunities for SHGs to access rural development schemes, ultimately supporting long-term economic growth.
