Resume

The proposed project strengthens the capacity of local CSOs and authorities to provide psychosocial services and increase accountability in Armenia, while taking initial steps toward a community-driven support system for families displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. Focusing on bordering communities in the Gegharkunik region, it addresses psychosocial needs and social inclusion of displaced individuals. The project fosters collaboration between local government and service providers to meet urgent needs and integrates local-level advocacy, enabling affected communities to understand and claim their rights. It also includes a pilot and feasibility study for adapting the RESET trauma-care program in Armenia, beginning in Vardenis with long-term nationwide potential. By addressing post-crisis needs and strengthening civil society resilience, the project ensures displaced children and families gain the psychosocial support necessary to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
