The project supports 170 vulnerable households in Mashruuca village, Buurdhuubo municipality, with USD 176 in cash assistance to meet urgent needs and restore dignity. Additionally, 510 seed packs and land preparation services will enable agricultural recovery where markets fall short. This integrated approach strengthens immediate survival and medium-term food security, while respecting local capacities and constraints. Start-up actions include community meetings, supplier confirmation, inclusive beneficiary selection, and safety measures for vulnerable groups. Project activities begin within 7 days of the first CISU/DERF transfer, ensuring rapid and accountable implementation.
