ARD works to support the weak in Somalia, where we have supported many during the last many year. Just like before, there is again a need for our support in the local community, where there has been another flood that hits hardest the weakest in the society. With this intervention, we would like to support a local population in Hilo Carmo that was affected by floods that destroyed the local farmers' crops during the flood. We would like to reach 700 inhabitants, where we will support them financially via cash-based intervention, deliver to them certified seed and mosquito nets. After our intervention, we hope that the local population will be able to get through the crisis easily and get the opportunity to cultivate their agriculture and thus be able to be self-sufficient again.
