The program titled “Empowerment of Communities through Democratic Natural Resource Management” – Phase II continues to focus on the same overall objective as in phase I, which is contributing to poverty reduction through responsible forest and local environment management. By working with local civil society organizations, we strengthen their capacity to organize target groups into democratic association for responsible forest management and to improve the quality of education on Natural Resource Management (NRM) in public schools and universities.
