Sport for All Association (SFA) is a non-profit, non-political, community-based civil society organisation established to promote sports, health, peace, social inclusion, and youth empowerment in South Sudan. The association was founded in 2016, originally as Upper Nile Sport Foundation, by sports enthusiasts and community leaders who recognised the important role that sport can play in bringing people together, promoting healthy lifestyles, and creating opportunities for young people. In 2026, the organisation registered as Sport for All Association, aiming to develop SFA from a locally rooted organisation in Unity State into a democratic and decentralised South Sudanese Sport for All organisation with broader membership/affiliation, representation from all the states and the operational capacity to carry out its new role. The organisation uses sport as a tool for community development, peacebuilding, education, and social transformation. SFA believes that everyone, regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, or social background, should have equal opportunities to participate in sport and recreational activities. Its main activities include community sports tournaments, youth development programmes, sports training and capacity building, peace and social cohesion activities, health awareness, and community activities for children and young people. SFA also works with schools, communities, sports clubs, government institutions, and development partners to increase participation in sport and strengthen community resilience. Through these activities, SFA aims to contribute to sustainable development, social cohesion, youth engagement, and improved well-being across South Sudan.
