Protez Hub

Founded in 2014 under the name “Ukraine Prosthetics Assistance Project” and officially registering a trademark of “Protez Hub” in 2022, CO CF Protez Hub is a leader in promoting the sustainable development of Ukraine’s Prosthetics and Orthotics industry (P&O industry), as well as amputee rehabilitation. Protez Hub focuses on the holistic approach to P&O industry, as an integral part of the physical rehabilitation system in Ukraine, including: contributing to shaping and implementing P&O industry development strategy (policy and regulations development, coordination with key stakeholders, etc.), development of the network of healthcare and prosthetics-orthotics facilities to expand amputees access to prosthetics and assistive devices, as well as to improve amputee care (professional development of specialists in the field, provision facilities with the necessary equipment to improve their performance, building the bridges between key actors of the network), strengthening capacities of the P&O workforce via development of the formal education of the prosthetists-orthotists and prosthetics-orthotics technicians, based on the world best experience and considering the local context, awareness raising for people with amputation about the possibilities of prosthetics in Ukraine under the logic of Governmental Guarantees, increasing inclusion of amputees in society through capacity building and awareness raising among local actors involved in the amputee rehabilitation pathway.
