Mombasa Young Mothers

Mombasa Young Mothers CBO (MYM-CBO) was founded in September 2022 by Emily Mitoh following her lived experience as a young mother. The organisation was established to empower adolescent girls and young mothers by addressing social, economic, and health challenges through sustainable community-led interventions. The organisation's primary activities include sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), economic empowerment, mental health and psychosocial support, education, leadership development, climate resilience, safeguarding, advocacy, and humanitarian support for vulnerable young mothers and adolescent girls.
