Kalsan Community Organisation

KALSAN COMMUNITY ORG was established in June 2025 and officially registered in August 2025 with the Ministry of Planning and National Development of the Republic of Somaliland. Kalsan Community was founded by a group of dedicated individuals from diverse professional backgrounds who came together with a shared commitment to address social and community challenges in Somaliland. Recognizing the central role of young people in shaping the future, the founders established the organization to provide structured, community-driven responses to the issues affecting youth and society at large. The purpose of Kalsan Community is to promote youth empowerment and community development through targeted initiatives and skills development, employment and entrepreneurship, leadership and civic engagement, and social awareness, with a particular focus on education, health, and climate change. The organization is guided by the belief that youth are key agents of positive change and works to strengthen cultural identity, community cohesion, and gender inclusion, while encouraging young people to take active roles in problem-solving, peacebuilding, and sustainable community development. Through inclusive participation, collaboration, and locally driven solutions, Kalsan Community aims to build resilient, capable, and socially responsible youth who contribute meaningfully to the progress and stability of Somaliland.
