YMBF was founded in 2018 by a group of young leaders in Zhytomyr region with the aim to empower children, youth, and families. The organisation focuses on non-formal education, psychosocial support, child safety (psychosocial, digital, and mine safety), and community development. Since its foundation, YMBF has implemented youth camps, psychosocial clubs, and educational programmes in multiple regions of Ukraine, reaching thousands of children and families, including internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable groups.
