Youth Association DRONI

Youth Association DRONI is a Georgian non-profit organisation dedicated to youth development, education and civic engagement. It implements a wide range of activities including youth exchanges, training courses, workshops and community projects that promote active citizenship, intercultural learning, social inclusion and democratic participation. DRONI collaborates with both local and international partners, creating opportunities for young people to gain practical skills, engage in volunteering and contribute to societal change. The organisation operates with a small core team of paid staff, supported by a larger network of volunteers who help facilitate projects and events for youth. DRONI has over 20 years of experience in youth work, non-formal education and Erasmus+ programme implementation. The organisation has coordinated and partnered in numerous KA1 and KA2 projects, including long-term strategic partnerships and capacity-building projects. Relevant thematic experience includes: Outdoor education and experiential learning; Mental health and wellbeing projects; Inclusion and work with vulnerable groups; Non-formal education methodologies; Capacity building of educators and youth workers and International project coordination and mentoring. Projects such as Natural Curriculum, Nature Calls – Outdoor Education for Mental Health and Self, Inclusion Lab, EuroBus and Mental Health at Work demonstrate DRONI’s direct experience in combining movement, outdoor approaches, and psychosocial wellbeing. Additionally, DRONI cooperates with universities (e.g. Alterbridge, GRUNI) local municipalities and schools where it aims to bridge formal and non-formal education. DRONI also manages the Erasmus+ Youth Information Centre in Georgia and has strong dissemination channels at local, national and international levels.
