Umande Trust

Umande Trust brings together teams of individuals who share a passion to learn from, share and achieve lasting change: with people. This team comprises community organizers, academics, geoinformatics, urban planning, human rights, civil engineering, social scientists, environmental, gender, youth, and enterprise development resource persons. Team members have several years of experience from diverse community engagement, research, civil society, and public sector agencies. We are intentional about puting communities at the fore-front during planning, design, implementation and post-project support. Our open door policy, strong community networks, and our strategic location (within one of the informal settlements) has aided the development agenda and response to emerging issues within the community.
