Nature Tanzania

Nature Tanzania is a national conservation non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered in Tanzania under the Non-Governmental Organisations Act, 2002. We have operated on the Tanzanian mainland since 2016, and our mission is to engage communities in conserving nature. The purpose of Nature Tanzania is “To promote and enable nature conservation in Tanzania.” Our work focuses on four main pillars: species, sites, and habitats conservation, enabling and supporting ecological sustainability, and influencing positive change in people’s attitudes arising from empowerment.
