AESF

AESF is a local civil society organisation based in Burkina Faso and the local partner of DBL-KOONSO in Denmark. The organisation works to support community development in Province du Sourou, particularly in the area around Tourouba village. AESF collaborates with local football clubs, women's associations, and weaving groups to strengthen local participation and improve living conditions. Despite limited traditions for civil society organisations in Burkina Faso, AESF has established a clear organisational structure and separation between private and organisational interests. AESF is currently undergoing re-registration in accordance with new legislation introduced in Burkina Faso in 2025.
