SP-SL is a registered local organization specializing in mobilizing the participation of local citizens, and community engagement. SP was established in Freetown as a youth development local CBO in 2016 with a strong focus on building resilience in marginalized and vulnerable communities. SP was likewise active during the disaster that evolved around the landslide and flooding in 2017, mobilizing especially youth in the communities to take action. Today SP continues to be involved with the affected communities, promoting schooling on disaster risk reduction and empowerment of children that became orphaned because of the disaster. SP-SL has very strong community relationships and they have demonstrated the ability to reach out to the communities and especially the youth. SP organogram structure is designed based on organization size, activities, capacity and logistics which are important tools used to develop such an organogram for successful implementation for all project activities. GOAL: Inclusive citizens’ participation for national development to change the status of the most vulnerable groups. MISSION: An atmosphere that must be created for Inclusive participation, ownership through national and human capital development with no discrimination. VISION: “Everyone must strive’’ for opportunities” (we most create fairer space for all).
