STEPS

Social transformation and Empowerment Projects. STEPS, a Cape Town-based non-profit organisation, harnesses the transformative power of documentary films to inspire social change, amplify marginalised voices, and provoke critical conversations around human rights and environmental issues. With over two decades of experience producing award-winning documentary films, STEPS connects filmmakers, broadcasters, funders, and communities across Africa, creating a platform for local and global engagement. One of the key aims at STEPS is to promote, nurture and mentor African filmmakers.
