SIQA focuses on fostering critical and creative thinking through informal education for people of all ages. It engages individuals who are motivated to create positive change and supports the use of both innovative and proven learning methods. The goal is to empower individuals to become active citizens committed to self-development. SIQA operates through various formats such as clubs, training sessions, seminars, camps, and other initiatives, all delivered as projects or programs. Since 1999, SIQA has been actively working with youth across Georgia, organizing training programs, youth camps, civic engagement activities, and more—all aimed at personal development. In recognition of its efforts, SIQA was named Youth Organization of the Year 2013 by the Ministry of Sport and Youth. To this day, SIQA remains one of Georgia’s most active youth organizations, running projects in all 11 regions of the country. Over the past decade, a significant focus has been placed on preserving local heritage, traditions, and craftsmanship—especially in areas with concentrated ethnic minority populations. SIQA regularly organizes workshops and exhibitions showcasing local crafts. Additionally, SIQA implements entrepreneurial education programs for both youth and adults. Promoting the 5R strategy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Refuse) is also a key component of its mission to support sustainable and responsible communities.
