Resume

The project will strengthen the knowledge, skills, and capacities of a new generation of courageous Indigenous and Mestizo girl and adolescent defenders (GADs) from the Ecuadorian Amazon fighting to end the devastating practice of routine gas flaring in their territories . The project will equip the GADs with knowledge about their rights and the rights of nature and offer them skills and opportunities to act in their schools, communities and with Peruvian & Danish youth, building local and international support and solidarity for their cause and climate justice activism. Stringent safeguards are set up to protect the young activists.
