The intervention which will last for 15 months is in three selected communities in the Eastern Region of Ghana namely Kwahu West, Atiwa and Atiwa West. The three main objectives are: To equip young adults (aged 18-35) in the Eastern Region with practical knowledge and skills in sustainable agriculture and agro-business, facilitate the establishment and growth of agro-business ventures among young adults, thereby increasing youth employment and economic empowerment and foster community development through youth-led initiatives in agriculture. It is expected that by the end of the intervention, Young adults will acquire knowledge and skills in sustainable agriculture, agro-businesses, and establish agro-businesses. That they will be encouraged to actively participate in community development activities and strengthen community ties through the formation of young-adult farmer cooperatives.The project will reduce youth unemployment, enhance food security, and foster community development.
