Resume

The intervention will empower local youth to become active citizens by engaging them in Green Entrepreneurship. They will learn idea generation and basic business skills with a social and environmental theme. This way the youth will gain a deeper understanding and awareness of local environmental issues and learn how they can play a role in mitigation and adaptation of local climate challenges. Through the intervention they will also be empowered to address the local government for support and cooperation. The intervention will address youth at three levels: As interns and facilitators who will start innovative green business projects, as youth groups, who will learn about environmental issues and business and make their own smaller green business projects, facilitated by interns, and the wider group of school children who will get at taste of Green Entrepreneurship and active citizenship through a yearly Green entrepreneurship Day at the local school.
