During Covid teenage pregnancies increased explosively. Many girls at a too young age involuntarily became mothers. The pregnancies had fatal consequences physically, socially and financially for the girls. We want to give girl mothers between 12 and 18 years old qualifications, income and self-esteem to improve their life and give information on sexuality and contraception. In Uganda many people are ignorant of sexuality and contraception. It is a taboo especially in the rural areas. By awareness-raising efforts for boys and girls in schools at level Primary 5 - 7, school teachers and school leaders in Iceme, Lira our aim is to avoid unwanted pregnancies. Through radio talks we want to contribute to break down the barriers of the taboo. main activities are: 1. Workshops for project management 2. Practical workshops for girl mothers 3. Informative workshops for girl mothers 4. Informative workshops for boys and girls in school P5 – P7, school teachers and school leaders 5. Radio talk
