The proposed intervention aims to address the immediate needs of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) affected by recent violent clashes in the Erigavo district of the Sanaag region in Somaliland. The conflict forced people to flee their homes in search of safety, resulting in a significant population of IDPs. This situation has disrupted children's education and restricted the freedom of movement for many. The proposed intervention will be implemented in the Fadhigaab and Wargunbi IDP sites in the Garadag District, providing unconditional cash assistance for a month and ensure access to safe drinking water for two months. The IDPs are currently living in open areas without proper shelter, facing vulnerabilities and risks, particularly women, children, and the elderly and 1,200 individuals (200 households) in both camps, 100 households in Fadhigaab IDPs and 100 households in Wargunbi IDPs will benefit from the emergency relief assistance.
