The intervention supports typhoon affected children and families with lifesaving cash transfers and psychosocial support. The intervention applies a collaborative approach building on and strengthening local capacities to reach two immediate objectives. Objective 1: 2175 vulnerable families affected by Typhoon Rai have increased access to food and other basic needs through multi-purpose cash grants. Objective 2: 1.500 vulnerable children affected by Typhoon Rai have processed post-typhoon trauma through psychosocial support. The intervention is implemented in Negros Occidental (Region VI) of the Philippines.
