Resume

The content reading for active citizenship(CRAC) seeks to improve readers skills to understand and reflect on the content of text they read and realise how it might help shape their personal lives and make them active citizens. The content of what is read should make users aware of their situation and give them tools to take active roles in transforming their communities. We wish to make the library a learning space where community members can learn through texts and action about active citizenship. The Sustainable development goals (SDGs) are extremely important for children around the world to learn and reflect on. There are learning materials on SDGs and the project will facilitate the reading of these materials and deliberate on ways to actively contribute to the SDGs.
