This intervention seeks to protect vulnerable girls and women from rape, abuse and violence during the Covid-19 pandemic. National lockdown has affected sex-workers' livelihoods while teenage girls and women are confined to their homes where they experience abuse and rape during lockdown. Five main activities are planned including radio broadcasts (information for target group on help and to warn off potential perpetrators), cooperation with local police to protect sex-workers, running safe houses for those most vulnerable/in risk of death, Kehkeh's running the streets of Freetown offering support and help to sex-workers, women and girls in need of assistance and food distribution for those needing it the most.
