The programme develops and institutionalises a Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) model in Bolivia, piloted in La Paz to serve as a reference for national replication. The model integrates teacher preparation in training colleges, school-level implementation with curricula, materials and monitoring, and an advocacy and financing strategy driven by civil society alliances and government partners. By demonstrating effectiveness in La Paz—through trained teachers, quality delivery in schools and robust evidence—the programme builds the case for sustainable public financing and policy adoption. Its goal is to embed CSE into the Bolivian education system, so all young people are better equipped to prevent sexual and reproductive risks and realise their rights.
