The intervention aims to ensure that children and families affected by the Typhoon Tembin (Vinta) in Mindanao, Philippines, are provided with essential relief assistance (food and non-food) and stabilization efforts to ensure a safe transition towards an early recovery phase. The intervention applies a collaborative approach building on and strengthening local capacities to reach three (3) objectives: 1. 3.000 families affected by the Typhoon Tembin (Vinta) are provided with immediate disaster relief; 2. 4.000 children affected by the Typhoon Tembin (Vinta) have reduced risks and vulnerabilities; 3. Network of local responders with capacity to provide affected children, youth and families with essential relief assistance and stabilization efforts to ensure a safe transition to early recovery.
