Through sustainable organic gardening for lunch five days weekly at St. Anne Academy, it is our objective to alleviate the consequences of hunger and lack of food for the pupils, and thereby empower their cognitive abilities and learning potentials as well as their educational achievements and awareness of the interconnectedness between sustainable organic food production, nutrition, health, climate and environmental justice in an intervention of twelve months, involving 74 primary school pupils of both gender, the CBO Stapes, teachers and volunteers participating in the project.
